The Journey

The adventure begins with a pickup from your nearby accommodation, heading towards tranquil village landscapes, away from the bustling Landour Bazaar. The journey takes you through peaceful villages like Jhodi and dense Himalayan Oak Forests, which bloom with flowers in spring. Continuing through Ladoore, you’ll reach Kolti, passing through breathtaking landscapes featuring farming fields, dense forests, and flowing streams.

After descending 3 km from Landour Bazaar, you’ll arrive at the picturesque Jhodi Village. Enjoy a short hydration break while taking in the views. The drive continues through oak forests on muddy and narrow roads to reach the second village, Ladoore, located 3 km from Jhodi. Here, you’ll be greeted with tea and stunning views of the mountains and beautiful farming fields. After enjoying tea at a local home in Ladoore, the journey proceeds another 3 km to Kolti Village, crossing a lovely stream and entering another farming area with Kolti Village in the background. As you pass through Kolti, you’ll reach a small river where you can pause to enjoy the landscape and stream. The group then returns to Kolti for a locally prepared meal before driving back to Landour, taking in the beauty of forested mountains and picturesque village landscapes along the way. The entire experience lasts approximately 3-4 hours. Temperatures range from 0-5°C in winter to 15-25°C in summer.
